Deep Ocean 4X - Conquest of the AbyssDeep Ocean 4X - Conquest of the Abyss

THE SEABED IS THE NEW HIGH FRONTIER

With the planetary surface scorched and uninhabitable, the remnants of civilization have plunged into the oceanic abyss. Across uncharted continental shelves and pitch-black abyssal trenches, rival factions vie for survival, resources, and military hegemony.

Deep Ocean 4X is a turn-based, hex-and-counter grand strategy game combining the deep economic management and technological progression of classic 4X games with the tactical rigor and board-level clarity of physical war games.

KEY FEATURES

• Explore the Oceanic Abyss: Dispatch Scout and Cruiser submersibles into the dense fog of war. Chart hydrothermal plumes, navigate perilous maelstroms and volcanic rifts, and utilize Abyssal Conduits for rapid fleet transit across deep-sea sectors.

• Tactical Hex-and-Counter Combat: Wage multi-round naval battles with tactical screening lines, hull armor ratings, and modular attack/defense technology bonuses. Engage opposing battle groups or confront the dreaded Abyssal Leviathan roaming the deep trenches.

• Hydrothermal Economy & Colonization: Deploy Dome Carriers to anchor pressurized cities over mineral-rich geothermal seamounts. Send Drill Rigs to extract seabed mineral clusters, manage fleet upkeep, and balance your Construction Point (CP) treasury.

• 8 Modular Hydro-Technology Trees: Research and advance 8 specialized branches of aquatic warfare—from acoustic torpedoes and reinforced titanium hulls to sonar arrays, tactical fleet initiative, capital hull scaling, and benthic habitation.

• Diverse Submersible Classes: Commission a specialized naval fleet—from agile Scouts and screening Destroyers to vanguard Cruisers, Battlecruisers, and leviathan Dreadnaught flagships. Deploy electronic Decoys and stationary Abyss Citadels to anchor critical choke points.

• Tactical Bidding & Adaptive Bot: Secretly bid Construction Points for turn-order initiative each round. Face adaptive bot commanders that expand colonial borders, optimize tech paths, and execute tactical retreats to preserve damaged hulls.

• Multiple Victory Paths & Scenarios: Win through total military conquest, surgical Homeworld strikes (First Domination), or colonial development (Colony Points). Play across handcrafted and procedural scenarios with customizable match setups.

• Atmospheric Underwater Presentation: Immerse yourself in an ambient sub-aquatic soundscape, drifting marine snow particles, and sleek bioluminescent tactical interfaces designed for tabletop clarity.
