SOUL PRINT is a mystery thriller that delves into the thin line between human psychology and deception.

As an interrogator for a special investigative task force, you must question those connected to the case, parsing through their testimonies and behaviors to expose hidden contradictions.

Someone might be telling the truth—or someone could be calculatingly concealing a lie.

What questions to ask, what evidence to present, and how far to trust their words... every judgment rests entirely on you.

Story

Case 1: The Purification Ritual Murder

It begins with a mysterious murder surrounding a cult known as the Heavenly Path Church. At the center of it all is the cult leader, Kim Gil-ryeong, surrounded by key figures—each harboring their own testimonies and dark secrets.

As the investigator, you must review their statements one by one, tracing the sharp contradictions and suspicious gaps between their words.

What initially seemed like isolated incidents and unrelated individuals begin to intertwine with every interrogation.

What truth lies buried beneath their words?

Core Gameplay — AI-Driven Free Interrogation

At the heart of SOUL PRINT lies the AI-Driven Free Interrogation system.

Unlike traditional choice-driven dialogue games where you are confined to picking pre-written questions, you type your own questions to converse with those tied to the case.

For instance, if you spot a red flag in a suspect’s statement, you can craft a custom line of questioning to press them for answers exactly the way you want.

The Interrogation Process

Observe ➔ Question ➔ Analyze Answers ➔ Detect Contradictions ➔ Press Further

As you drive the conversation, you must scrutinize their responses, cross-reference them with previously gathered Intel, and formulate your next move.

• Direct Interrogation: Type and ask your own questions to anyone tied to the case.

• Cross-Examination: Compare past testimonies with their current answers in real-time.

• Spot Red Flags: Dissect their words to find logical gaps and suspicious behavior.

• Press the Advantage: Use newly discovered contradictions to launch aggressive follow-up questions.

• Connect the Dots: Trace the intricate web linking suspect statements to the crime scene.

• Uncover the Truth: Pierce through the lies and approach the core of the mystery based entirely on your own judgment.

There is no set script. The direction of the interrogation shifts dynamically depending on the exact questions you choose to ask.

Player-Driven Investigation

In SOUL PRINT, you cannot solve the case by simply passive reading.

You must memorize and compare every testimony, judging for yourself who knows what and where the stories clash. Making hasty conclusions or pursuing the wrong line of questioning will directly impact your investigation.

The unfolding narrative and its ultimate conclusion rest entirely on the intel you gather and the judgments you make during interrogations.

The case entangles an array of individuals, each harboring distinct secrets and hidden motives.

• Yu-jin Cha

• Jae-won Song

By conversing with them and verifying their statements, you will gradually piece together the truth.

Every individual’s words are a mix of open facts and concealed truths, and one person’s testimony may sharply conflict with another's. It is up to you to decide who to trust—and who to suspect.

How to Solve the Case

Solving a case in SOUL PRINT is never about just stumbling upon a single right answer. Instead, you must piece together your own logic based on the evidence and intel gathered through intensive interrogations.

• Cross-Examine: Weigh the testimonies of each individual against one another.

• Expose Flaws: Target the jarring contradictions hidden between different statements.

• Press the Suspects: Aggressively follow up on evasive or suspicious answers.

• Map Out Relations: Map the intricate web connecting the suspects to the crime.

• Test Your Hypotheses: Challenge your own theories against hard evidence to see if they hold up.

A single, well-crafted question from you could break the entire case wide open.

The game delivers a gritty, high-stakes atmosphere paired with documentary-style direction, making you feel as though you are combing through genuine, classified police archives.
