Claire: Operation VelvetClaire: Operation Velvet

In a city suffocated by terror, ordinary people are transformed into puppets by a supernatural force. Behind the doors of an office building lies UPD-West, a secret task force fighting an invisible war across two overlapping realities: the Human World and the Spirit World.

Play as Claire: sold to ruthless criminals by her debt-ridden father, a terrifying gift awakens within her—the ability to drain "souls" and shape them into lethal weapons. Now, alongside a team of agents, she must navigate a web of paranormal incidents, unravel a dark conspiracy devouring the city, and face a malevolent entity that feeds on human suffering.

How far will you go to break the chains of oppression?

Prepare for a combat system that will test both your mind and your reflexes.
Claire: Operation Velvet introduces a movement mechanic based on a grid system.

• Strategic Real-Time Combat: Most grid-based games are turn-based. In Claire: Operation Velvet, you can move freely across the grid in real time, learning and anticipating enemy attack patterns. Movement is an integral part of game strategy.

• Grid-Based Enemy Patterns: The grid structure allows for complex and intricate enemy attack patterns. You will need to use the layout of the battlefield to survive, dodging area-of-effect or close-range attacks.

• A Compromise that Challenges: This system is a compromise designed to offer the strategic depth of a tactical RPG combined with the feel of a real-time action game. Every movement choice will be crucial.

• Collection: As an extra, you can search for hidden items scattered throughout the game levels, such as new costumes to wear.

The world of Claire: Operation Velvet consists of two interconnected dimensional planes:

• The Human World: A reality made of physics, logic, and rigid laws.

• The Spirit World: The physical manifestation of the unconscious.

These two realities share a physical overlap while existing on distinct planes. They are intricately linked: what happens in one directly affects the other. The Spirit World recycles the souls of the deceased and safeguards the physical souls of the living, but its appearance and landscape are fluid, defying logic and conventional physics. This world harbors unknown forces...

• Claire: Reserved and fiercely determined. She transforms souls into weapons to fight. Rescued from a traumatic past by the Director, she is the team's newest and perhaps most powerful asset.

• The Director: An affable yet mysterious leader. He manages operations with strict discipline while keeping his own powers hidden from the rest of the team.

• Alistar Glow: Energetic and bright, though a bit impetuous. His body emits an intense light that he channels through a special visor, turning it into laser beams.

• Albert Pierce: Cold, intelligent, and calculating. He controls soul extensions called "Watchers" to gather intelligence, guide the team through danger zones, and maintain communications.

• The Haze: An agent who dresses in 1960s style and communicates solely through gestures. He can dematerialize into a gaseous state, shifting between planes of reality to infiltrate secure facilities.

• Velvet: A malicious entity that feeds on human oppression and suffering, dressed in a red velvet suit.
