WAKEWAKE

New York City has been underwater for decades. You step aboard the McSwifty II, an abandoned NYC ferry looking for your lost love, Halle. What you find instead is everything she, and the boat's crew, left behind.

WAKE is a first-person narrative exploration game about love, queerness, and building community at the end of the world.

Explore a World That Tells Its Own Story
Every corner of the McSwifty II holds a piece of the puzzle. Read journals, listen to audio logs, access ship terminals, and handle the objects people leave behind when they have no choice. The story reveals itself through the environment around you.

Solve Puzzles Woven Into the World
WAKE's puzzles live inside the fiction. Reroute power through a damaged breaker panel. Balance flooded ballast tanks to clear the engine room. Crack combination locks hidden in poems and maps. Nothing exists just to be a puzzle, everything has a reason to be there.

Meet the Crew of the McSwifty II
Through journals, video logs, and audio recordings, you piece together the lives of the people who called this boat home. Nat, the guarded captain who kept her community alive through sheer force of will. Reza, her steadfast first mate. Des, the documentarian. And Halle, the stranger who changed everything.

A Flooded New York City
The world of WAKE is not a wasteland. It is a city that adapted, survived, and kept going. The water rose. People stayed. They built something beautiful in the wreckage.
