They called it the Great War because no one had the strength left to number it.
It stretched on for nine years, yet the nukes never fell. Governments calculated and realised mutually assured destruction was a certainty. The models agreed. There would be no victor, and no one left to rule.
So, the war stopped short of nuclear fire. Instead, it dismantled the world piece by piece. Biological sabotage and cyberwarfare unravelled infrastructure until power grids flickered out permanently. Ports were cratered and refineries burned. Supply chains were shattered so completely that entire continents starved before the fighting even reached them.
When the conflict finally exhausted itself, it left behind something worse than ash: a world that still functioned, but only barely, and no one who knew how to make it whole again.
This is the world Overdrive was born into. Not a radioactive nightmare, but a mechanical graveyard. Fuel is scarce yet vital and towns exist as isolated islands separated by distance rather than sea. And because the war never delivered a final, catastrophic ending, people created their own spectacle instead.
Overdrive.
A brutal circuit of speed and violence where fuel buys entry and only the ruthless make it to the finish.
RACE ACROSS A DYING WORLD
Every race takes place on a newly generated circuit through one of five unique biomes:
Frozen tundra
Scorched savannah
Overgrown forests
Toxic wastelands
Neon-lit urban ruins
Learn the terrain. Adapt to changing conditions. Survive long enough to reach the finish line.
No two championships are ever the same.
BUILD YOUR MACHINE
Your car is more than transportation, it's your ticket to freedom.
Customize every run using a modular chassis system built around Body, Doors, Wheels and Tech components. Hunt for new parts and experiment with powerful combinations that can turn a battered wreck into a machine feared across the circuit.
Equip devastating weapons and reinforce your armour against rival attacks. The Artificer also offers rare modifications capable of completely changing the way your vehicle behaves.
Every upgrade is a choice: More speed, more armor or more firepower?
Build the machine that gets you to the finish line.
MAKE ENEMIES
Victory isn't enough. Rival drivers remember.
Push someone into a barrier, steal a championship from under their nose, or destroy them in the middle of a race and they will carry that grudge forever. The drivers you meet become part of your story, creating unpredictable rivalries that evolve alongside your career.
A CAREER WITH CONSEQUENCES
Championships span multiple regions each of which introduces new environments with cunning opponents and escalating challenges.
Special events and unexpected encounters appear throughout your journey, while each new career generates a fresh world.
Every run tells a different story.
CHUNKY PIXELS. BIG EXPLOSIONS. NO MERCY.
The world ended.
The race didn't.
