Pure industrial engineering. No abstractions.
Aethel Mine launches you onto a wild, procedurally generated frontier spanning over 10 square kilometers. Designed for uncompromising efficiency and deterministic simulation, the game forces you to build, route, and optimize vast industrial complexes, ranging from basic metallurgy to galaxy-scale megastructures.
Here, physics is your primary adversary. Terrain is not just a visual element: fluids obey hydrostatic pressure, electrical networks incorporate real rotational inertia, and every thermodynamic inefficiency directly impacts your installations.
Key Mechanics
True 3D Isometric Topology : Take advantage of natural plateaus with gravitational slides that consume no energy, or pay the steep price to pump fluids and propel inclined conveyor belts along steep cliffs. Watch your pipelines: uncontrolled drops will burst pipes under hydraulic hammer effects.
50-Level Vertical Stacking : Eliminate spatial bottlenecks. Create complex exchanges by stacking up to 50 independent logistic layers per tile, thanks to compact bitboard-based occupancy management.
Thermodynamics and Thermal Radiation : Each power-hungry arc furnace or CVD chamber diffuses heat to adjacent tiles. Plan industrial ventilation corridors and exploit cold biomes before rising ambient temperatures slow down your machines.
Mechanical Torque and Network Collapse : Energy is not a simple abstract global value. Transmit raw torque via mechanical shafts before unlocking electrical cables. Maintain network frequency under heavy load: a transformer overload can trigger a cascade failure, forcing you to perform emergency manual restarts.
Exact Ratio Distribution : Split and merge flows using carousel mechanisms synchronized to the cycle. Guaranteed exact ratios eliminate production jerks and downstream shortages.
Planetary Specialization and Galactic Logistics : No single world can sustain production in the late game phase. Exploit high-gravity terrestrial planets for raw material extraction, install cryogenic factories on airless ice worlds, and leverage orbital transit windows via electromagnetic catapults and automated freight lines.
Scale in the Millions : Progress through 15 demanding technology tiers. Go from hand-forged iron plates to self-replicating Dyson swarm architectures and laboratory event horizons.
