Take the chest, or save your last card for the exit?

An enemy blocks the door. A chest waits off your route. Take a detour, strike first, or get out alive? Chesspath Dungeon brings chess moves, drawn routes and equipment builds into a turn-based dungeon adventure. With enemies looming over your little king, make every card and every square count.

The same destination. A different way there.

A rook, bishop or knight card determines where you may land. You trace the route one square at a time, within a step limit. Check enemy attack ranges and intended actions before choosing to evade, fight or make for the exit. Even with the same destination, traps, fights and chests along the way change the cost of a move.

Turn a tight corner into a chain reaction

Choose movement cards with extra effects. Combine gear that reacts to hits and kills with ranged weapons, letting one attack trigger more effects. Buy cards at shops, then fuse, engrave or smelt at the forge to reshape what you take into the next room. Loot may fill a gap in your build, but reaching it means taking another risk.

The reward is in front of you. So is the price.

Give up health for a rare movement card, spend gold for block, or walk away? Beyond the doors are shrines, events, the Keeper and other travelers. Listen to their stories, revisit the words you have heard, and carry those clues toward the next door.

Read the board again at every door

Choose a standard or short journey through different regions. Crumbling tiles cut off old routes, while light and shadow shift with each turn in eclipse rooms. In perspective puzzles, operate mechanisms and adjust the view to connect platforms before playing a card to cross. The route that saved you in one room may fail you in the next.
