Choose from an ever-expanding arsenal of machines and parts
to assemble a custom loadout, then deploy into the unknown realm of The Dark.
An unknown realm where humanity's memories and deepest desires converge: The Dark.
Discovered by a brilliant scientist, this otherworldly dimension gave physical form to humanity's memories and collective unconscious.
Within The Dark lay a new energy source dubbed Palmer Energy—powerful enough to overturn the global order.
Superpowers hungry for dominion.
Small nations fighting for survival.
And those pursuing their ambitions from the shadows.
As the competing desires—the Egos—of nations, factions, and individuals collide,
the world plunges into war for control of Palmer Energy.
You are a mercenary, piloting a diverse arsenal of machines into the heart of the conflict.
An endless succession of contracts.
Ambitions and conspiracies collide.
With every battle, another fragment of the truth behind The Dark comes to light.
Ambition. Hope. Prayer.
Each Ego will, in time, reshape the world.
Embrace your hunger. Before the world burns.
