Command the battle. Then fight it yourself.
SPEARHEAD is a WW2 game set on the Eastern Front in 1944, combining a real-time strategy layer with direct tank
control in a single battle. Fight with historically organized German and Soviet forces.
Commander and Ace — two battlefields in one
Direct infantry, vehicles, and armor from above, coordinating artillery and air support. When the line starts
to break, climb into your ace tank and fight through the gunsight yourself. Both roles are the full game.
No HP bars
Tanks survive by armor, not health. Real armor thickness and impact angles decide penetration — shells
ricochet, crews die, tracks break, ammo racks cook off. A Tiger's front is genuinely hard. Its flank is
genuinely not.
Weapons as they were
Armor values, penetration, rate of fire, muzzle velocity — all based on historical data. An 88 fights like an
88.
Infantry lives by cover
Hug walls, dig trenches, garrison buildings. Suppressed squads keep their heads down. Kill the machine gunner
and the assistant picks up the gun.
Battles escalate in phases
Encounter → Deployment → Engagement → Decisive Engagement. Heavier equipment unlocks as the battle escalates,
and victory points settle the war.

Sister title — SPEARHEAD TACTICS, a turn-based hex wargame with the same army and the same armour.
