Humanity survived the collapse. But in a world ruled by artificial intelligence, survival is no longer enough to secure your future.
In XIRI: Oasis Cities, you lead a high-tech desert settlement constantly pushed to the edge by natural disasters, cyber warfare, and fragile political alliances between neighboring settlements.
Every decision shapes your city’s stability. Every system can fail.
Your city cannot thrive alone.
Corporations emerge from the industries you build, growing through production, trade, and influence. As they expand across the region, they reshape economies, diplomacy, and even the balance of power itself.
Every corporation strengthens your city. It also gains influence beyond your control. They expand into neighboring settlements, affect diplomatic relations, and introduce new threats ranging from cyber warfare to corporate espionage.
Manipulate regional markets and trade prices
Conduct corporate espionage and information warfare
Drive corporate growth through privatization and education
Increase corporate expertise and unlock new capabilities
Balance a workforce of humans, androids, and drones: each with unique strengths, weaknesses, and roles.
If one link fails, the entire city feels the impact.
Create drone-based power transmission chains
Install lightning rods to protect critical facilities
Activate drone-based defensive barriers around key infrastructure
Keep production running during disasters
You are not alone. Multiple neighboring settlements compete and cooperate with you.
Trade. Negotiate. Manipulate. Strike first.
But be aware that every aggressive move risks retaliation.
Launch cyberattacks against rival infrastructure
Uncover enemy spies
Manage loyalty levels of neighboring settlements
Issue or request loans
Lease equipment and specialists
Establish strategic trade routes
The desert is alive and hostile.
Earthquakes fracture your infrastructure
Sandstorms reduce solar energy output and endanger your population
Tornadoes rip through districts
Lightning storms devastate unprotected facilities
Can you maintain control as corporations rise, alliances shift, and nature constantly tests your city?
